Grief Relief


When I'm grieved or stressed, I go downstairs where my paints are spread on my ping pong table and I paint. I let the colors bleed onto the paper as my soul bleeds. Sounds painful, but it is very soothing to watch colors go onto the paper and form new colors and designs. When I paint during these times, I don't work toward an end product. I process what is inside. Many times what is inside is brighter than I thought. Maybe the hope is squeaking through the cracks.
